"ALLOWED ME TO STEP OUTSIDE MY NORMAL THOUGHT PROCESS"

"The structured process of how Sport Sparks takes you through refining the problem space and then generating options to consider, is what I valued the most.

The quality and sequencing of the questions made the problem-solving process excellent and allowed me to step outside of my normal thought process and inherent biases.

Sport Sparks also allowed me to support those I line manage more effectively.

Sport Sparks helped me to consider options available to the performance questions of those I line manage so we can collectively find the most effective solution.

For example, when we were constrained to how many people were allowed to train inside together and the space we had available, we noticed a decline in the players intent to train compared to when we could all train in the same smaller space.

Sport Sparks provided different ways to view this problem and the areas we could consider to resolve this.

We found a number of solutions thanks to the process Sport Sparks took us through which we may not of go to without it.

The staff that used Sport Sparks also found real value in it.  When we had access to Sport Sparks, there was a lot of uncertainty.

For one staff member, the use of the tool in that moment provided them exactly what they needed to gain clarity on what they were working on while simultaneously providing choices to explore to help them find a solution.

This staff member started to ask themselves what other considerations need to be included which were not previously considered, such as home life for the players.

This became a catalyst for the coach to have more conversations with both players and staff and become more open minded around all things to consider and options to employ.

Sport Sparks provides the opportunity to enhance our problem-solving capabilities through a logical and structured process."
