Sport Sparks is operated by the National Centre for Creativity enabled by AI (CebAI), a business centre at

CebAI operates the website sportsparks.io and the Sport Sparks app, referred to in this notice as the “Services”.


CebAI is the data controller of personal information collected through, and used on, the Service. 


If you choose to use our Services, then you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this notice. The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Services. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this notice.


  • How we collect your personal information

    Information about you will be collected in a number of ways:

    • When you register to use the Services. 
    • When you use third-party sign-on to access the Services. 
    • When you use the Services in any way.
    • When you sign-up to our mailing list.

    We collect and process personal information to fulfil a contract with you and to take steps at your request before this:

    • Providing information and technical support if you ask for this
    • Contacting you with information about changes to the Services

    • ensure consent can be withdrawn as easily as it can be given
    • retain records evidencing the consent. 

  • What information we collect

    Our Services may collect the following types of personal data about you:-

    • Your name and contact information such as address, email address and telephone number.     
    • Business contact information (such as your name, job title, organisation, location, phone number, email address, and country).
    • Marketing information (such as your contact preferences).
    • Account log-in credentials (such as your email address or username and password when you sign up for an account with us).
    • Service usage date (such as records of your use of the Services, including pages accessed, time and duration of usage, information related to the browser or device you use to access the Service, including IP address and related identifiers)
    • Troubleshooting and support data (which is data you provide, or we otherwise collect, in connection with support queries we receive from you).
    • Payment information (including your credit card numbers and associated identifiers and billing address).
    • Information provided to us from other sources which you may choose to use to log in to the Services. 
    • Information that you upload to the app for processing.

    Through the  Services, we will use your information as follows:

    • Processing information provided to generate idea sparks, insights and action plans.

  • Retaining information

    When uploading information to our site, you remain the proprietary owner of the data you provide. 


    We safeguard your data at all stages. We use


    • Data Encryption to ensure all data, both in transit and at rest, is encrypted. This means we use secure protocols like HTTPS for data transmission and encrypting the data stored in our databases.

    • Access Controls  ensure that only authorised personnel have access to the data and that users can only access their own data.

    • We always obtain explicit consent for the storage and processing of  data, and provide  clear options to control data, including options to delete accounts or data.

    The app retains personal information it collects from you where there is an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with access to the Service, or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).


    When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then CebAI will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

  • 3rd Party APIs

    Processing of data includes sending the extracted user information to OpenAI’s API service. 


    OpenAI does not use data from APIs to train their algorithms and does not retain any ownership of data processed via their API.

  • Cookies

    Cookies are files with a small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. 


    These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive. 


    Our website and products use these “cookies” to collect information and to improve our service. 


    You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our service.


    We use session cookies within Sport Sparks products. Session cookies allow users to be recognised within Sport Sparks so any page changes or item or data selection you do is remembered from page to page. 


    We store settings for a query, such as language, time filter, and sort by filter. This data is not shared with Third Parties. These need to be accepted by the user for the application to work properly.

    Our Service may contain links to other sites.


    If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. 


    Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites.

But no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

    Rights to access your personal data to be provided by Sport Sparks within one calendar month – known as a Subject Access Requests. This includes information on:

    • The recipients of your data

    •  A copy of your data

    You have the right to correct any inaccurate personal data held by Sport Sparks. Once information Sport Sparks has collected is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and processed, you sometimes have the right to have your data erased.

    You have the right to receive the personal data Sport Sparks holds in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from Sport Sparks.

  • Disclaimer

    Our services utilize artificial intelligence systems, including ChatGPT developed by OpenAI, to process user-provided information and generate heuristic reasoning for the purpose of providing creativity suggestions to users. 


    While we aim for the suggestions to be helpful, the app does not guarantee that the suggestions will always be accurate, appropriate, or useful. 


    The app providers are not liable for any damages, losses, or other consequences arising from reliance on the creativity suggestions provided. 


    Use of the suggestions generated by this app is at the user's own discretion and liability. 


    Use of our services constitutes acceptance of these liability disclaimers and data processing notifications.


  • Using our services with minors

    Our services may generate suggestions intended to entertain and educate minors and children under 16. 


    However, the appropriateness of suggestions for each individual minor is highly variable. 


    The adult user acknowledges that ideas generated by the app may be unsuitable, dangerous, inappropriate physically or emotionally, or otherwise risky for the specific minor. 


    The app cannot assess the individual minor's maturity level, sensitivities, or other personal factors. 


    The adult bears full responsibility for considering the minor's specific circumstances and developmental ability to filter, assess, and make determinations on the appropriateness of any app-generated suggestions prior to sharing with the minor. 


    The adult user must apply their own knowledge and understanding of the particular minor when evaluating potential risks of any suggestion. 


    CebAI disclaim any liability for the adult user's implementation of any app-generated suggestion with minors. 


    By allowing minors access to the output of our services, the adult user accepts complete accountability for undertaking their own informed risk assessment.
